101 Whiskies to Try Before You Die--Crown Royal

This is of me, trying Crown Royal for the first time.  That may come as a shock to some, but I've just never had the desire to try it.  Watch the video and see how I like it.

Introductions Are In Order

Well, first things first, in case you haven't looked at the "About Me" section, my name is Joshua.  I live in Milwaukie, Oregon and I'm a drinker.  Not a drunk.  No, I wouldn't say that.  But I do enjoy drinking.  I like most alcohol, but I'd say I'm partial to whisky.  My wife knowing this, bought me Ian Buxton's book 101 Whiskies to Try Before You Die.  She bought me this along with some bourbon and a whisky decanter.  Not a bad gift for a person like me.  Well, I started flipping through the book and thought, I want to try all of these.  Then I saw that some are around 700 dollars and I thought, "I want to try most of these."  (Just in case, that last sentence has scared off some of you--like me--who can't afford triple-digit whiskies, his rule is no whiskies made specifically for collectors and no hugely expensive whiskies.  The book is for drinkers, not collectors and the average whisky in it is probably forty to fifty dollars.)  My third thought was that I might let people know what I think of the whiskies I try.  Now, I know you're probably wondering who I am that I can make a blog about trying whisky.  I'll be up front about this, since it'll be pretty obvious later on: I'm not a professional.  I'm an average whisky enthusiast.  I know what I like; I know what I don't like; and I'm always willing to try something I've never heard of before.
And just as a side note, I'm not just going to stick to whiskies found in Buxton's book, so even if you've tried all of the whiskies in the book--and if so, how's Johnnie Walker's King George V?--there might even be something you'd not expect.  There's some Oregon whiskies I've got my eye on and some I've tried and definitely want to mention on here.  There's some others I'm just plain curious about.  And if you have some suggestions, comments, or criticisms, let me know.
